Get
on the Right Track
What is the Right Track?
The
Cleveland City Council approved waiving fees for all non-resident children
under the age of 18 and for teachers.
What is the Right Track Card?
The
right track card is a part of Cleveland’s history. Cleveland
was settled as a town with the agreement that the railroad would have a
depot with Mr. Cleveland’s name on it.
The above picture is the depot.
Who can get a Right Track?
The
Right Track is available to all children and teachers living in the
Cleveland Area. The Cleveland City Council approved on September
2003 waiving the non-resident fee for persons under the age of 18 years
and teachers with proof of employment encouraging kids and teachers
throughout the Cleveland area to "Get on the Right Track."
Where can I use the Right Track?
The
Right Track card can only be used at the Austin Memorial Library.
What are the benefits of the Right Track Card?
With
the Right Track Card, the library is renewing its commitment to youth
services. More outreach into the community is a result of the Right
Track Card. Research tells us that "kids who read,
succeed" and children, teenagers, parents, and teachers who answer
the Right Track Call to get, then use, a library card will enjoy the
outcomes.
